Trademarks

A trademark denotes the goods or services of companies in the market. Therefore, we are usually using the term, "trademark" or "service mark". A trademark enables the ability to distinguish the goods or services of one company from those of other companies in the market.

In particular, a sign or combinations of signs that can be graphically displayed and registered as a trademark are:

• a word or words, including personal names,
• letters,
• numbers,
• figurative elements,
• three-dimensional images, including the form of goods or the shape of their packaging,
• the colour combination,
• sound,
• various combinations of the above-stated, etc.

Our legal office is the official representative for the registration of trademarks:

• In the Republic of Slovenia (national trademark registration).
• At the level of the European Union (registration of Community Trademarks (CTM) with effect throughout the EU). We are authorized to represent the clients from all of the member states of the European Union.
• At the international level (trademark registration in 115 member states of the Madrid Union).
